So many people come up to me and ask: “How do you DO it?” My answer is always the same: “Do WHAT?” Obviously, they are talking about ONE person writing an 80 page magazine for 9 years!! My answer is always the same: “Oh. It isn’t me…this is God’s magazine!” You may think that is an endearing statement but really…REALLY?! WHO writes an 80 page magazine by themselves? No, no…there are NO ghost writers…just me and God, a glass of red wine and some great music…and up it comes…. into the keys and up into the hard drive…never to be remembered again….except when the magazine is printed!
Well, the truth of the matter is, I am an old rocker….yes; a rocker, song writer, producer, singer, film actress and performer. I was kind of the queen of the 80’s…without the drugs and excess! I had some health issues that kind of pushed me from the stage and into an entire new career. Re-inventing myself in gratitude was the key to a passionate and fulfilling life. I always LOVED people…sometimes to extremes and intimate blindness, but I always knew who gave me my heart and that heart has never changed-except to grow in its capacity to love even more! Now some may say “heart” does not belong in business, but I beg to differ! The over-used statement, “Oh, this is not personal…this is business,” is so ridiculous, it makes me laugh out loud! “PEOPLE” conduct business, so of course it is personal! My God; what is life without people? What is life without intimate connection, what is life without love, and what is life without YOU!? I hope I never find out, but just in case, let me share a bit of magic with you: Love is everything, forgiveness means you forget, kindness has no qualifications and judgment is not yours to give. The secret of life is simple: “Love one another as I have loved you.” Is there anything quite as profound? Could any statement possess so much Grace, so much power and so much such humble sincerity? I don’t think so my friends…I don’t think so.
I have been on this earth for over a half century and still have the spirit of a child in flight, the laugh of a baby and the unquenchable desire to help put human back into humanity. Am I special? No; God made me this way and I am acutely aware of His gifting and that I am supposed to utilize and manifest this gift to effect positive change on the earth. I was not born to be a “guest” on this planet, I was born to be a host….to give, to love and leave my mark on every person I am lucky enough to touch. I have dedicated TTW to the restoration of the human heart; to touch the world through the power of words, a smile, a hug, a laugh and the transformation of the spirit through the heart of Christ. No- this is not a religious statement, it is a statement of truth and the most powerful love on earth; as it is in Heaven.
I hope and pray that every word you read in TTW uplifts your soul, enlightens your perception of love and encourages your spirit to keep on keeping on. I love you all and am so grateful to have had this opportunity to serve you.
